Start your day exploring the Sentier des Douaniers, also known as the GR34. This coastal path takes you along the cliffs of the C\u00f4te de Granit Rose. It offers the best views of the ocean and the region's characteristic rock formations.<\/p>

Start your hike from Trestraou beach. Follow the \"Douaniers\" path to the port of Ploumanac'h (2h30). From the heights of La Clart\u00e9, admire the semaphore and, in the distance, the 7-island archipelago, France's largest bird sanctuary.<\/p>

Walk along the 300-million-year-old pink granite coastline and observe the strange shapes created by natural erosion. Arriving at Pors-Kamor cove, the SNSM (Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 nationale de sauvetage en mer) lifeboats are ready to intervene. Continue on your way to the nugget of the Pink Granite Coast: the Mean Ruz lighthouse. Not far from the lighthouse, the Maison du Littoral<\/a> welcomes you and answers your questions.<\/p>

After a morning's walk, enjoy a picnic on theone of Perros-Guirec's heavenly beaches<\/a>as beautiful (if not more so) than those in the Caribbean.<\/p>

For example, Trestignel beach<\/a>offers crystal-clear water and fine white sand. As you watch the waves roll in, make yourself comfortable on your towel and enjoy a picnic of selected delicacies from the market or nearby shops.<\/p>

After this gourmet break, throw away your preconceptions about the water temperature in Brittany and run for a swim in this turquoise water. Dry off in the sun and catch up on your reading. Play with the white sand and build the most beautiful sand castles, inspired by the one at Costa\u00e9r\u00e8s. Finally, take a walk along the beach and add to your shell collection.<\/p>

In the past, according to local tradition, a young girl wishing to marry had to insert a hairpin into the Virgin's nose. If the pin held for the duration of a tide, the young lady would be married within the year. Unfortunately, Saint-Guirec lost its nose due to constant demand.<\/p>
