The 7-island archipelago is another of the Côte de Granit Rose's natural highlights. It comprises seven islands: Ile Rouzic, Ile aux Moines, Ile Plate, Ile Bono, Ile Malban, Ile des Femmes and Ile des Costans. These seven islands are a protected haven for seabirds such as gannets, crested cormorants and puffins. Grey seals can also be seen on the beaches. Inaccessible to visitors, it is possible to take guided boat tours to observe the marine animals from the sea.

A picturesque village on the Côte de Granit Rose, Ploumanac'h is a must-see during your stay in Perros-Guirec. Voted France's favorite village in 2015, it's renowned for its authentic charm, fine sandy beach and spectacular views of the most beautiful spots in the Côtes d'Armor.

 

Standing proudly atop a pink granite cliff, the Mean Ruz lighthouse, also known as the Ploumanac'h lighthouse, is one of the village's most emblematic landmarks. Built in 1860, then destroyed in 1944 and rebuilt in 1947, it offers panoramic views of the Château de Costaérès, Île Renote and the Sept-Îles archipelago.
